Dr. Pryce Lewis founded GVD Corporation in 2001, and has successfully led the company from a start-up endeavor to a thriving technology company serving multiple disparate industries. Dr. Pryce Lewis received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Natal, South Africa.
Dr. Gleason founded GVD Corporation in 2001, and now acts as GVD's Chief Scientific Advisor, playing a key role in its research and development efforts. She is also currently the Associate Dean of Engineering for Research and the Alexander and I. Michael Kasser Professor of Chemical Engineering at MIT. Professor Gleason is the inventor of several of GVD's key vapor deposition processes and has authored more than 200 publications in the field. She serves on the Editorial Boards of the journals Plasma Processes and Polymers and Chemical Engineering Communications and has been a Guest Editor for a special issue of Chemical Vapor Deposition.

Dr. Handy identifies new coating development and commercialization opportunities for GVD Corporation. Before joining GVD in 2007, Dr. Handy was an inventor on several patents assigned to nanotherapeutic start-up Triton BioSystems. His technical experience includes development of electroactive polymer coatings for display, sensor, and adaptive materials applications. Dr. Handy received a Ph.D. from MIT in Polymer Science/Organic Chemistry.
Dr. O'Shaughnessy provides technical leadership for materials and process development across GVD's current and future product portfolios. Before joining GVD in 2010, he developed expertise in the biomaterials, semiconductor, and energy sectors including serving as a founding scientist for a medical device coatings concern. Dr. O'Shaughnessy received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from MIT in 2007 and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston in 1998.
