GVD works closely with our customers to provide coating services and to customize coatings for their specific applications.

Evaluation Phase: During evaluation, we work with you to identify your needs and will perform some coating trials in which we prepare, fixture, and coat your parts for feasibility testing. We also provide integrity and performance testing to determine coating quality and how it may perform in service. We often recommend that the evaluation phase include 2-3 iterations of coating trials to allow for some process and formulation optimization.

Prototype Production: After initial evaluation, we typically coat larger numbers of prototype parts that can be characterized and tested more thoroughly in real-world environments.

Low Volume Manufacturing: Our core engineering team is located at our Cambridge, MA facility. At this facility, we provide low volume manufacturing and prototyping solutions for our customers in multiple industries.

Higher Volume Manufacturing: We work closely with our customers to transition GVD technology into higher volume production. There are several options for higher-volume production: GVD can provide coatings services in Cambridge, MA or Greenville, SC, or we'll work with you to provide technology transfer and licensing to allow manufacturing at your location.
